Start with the project constraints

A two-post layout is compact where equipment footprint is the priority. A four-post structure creates a self-contained frame with four support points and may suit projects that value platform stability and a clear drive-on path. Vehicle width, door clearance, headroom, foundations and daily operation must all be reviewed.

Platform choice also matters. A full deck separates the upper and lower levels, while runways leave the centre open. Rated capacity, lifting height, power and safety configuration must follow the final technical proposal.
